He has over 20 years of working experience in banking, payment and e-commerce systems.

Companies he has worked for include Post Office Savings Bank (now DBS Bank), Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS), Nanyang Polytechnic, XCI consulting and Republic Ploytechnic.

Project he has completed include branch automation, bank back office processing automation, Automated Machine (ATM) deployment, front office banking system enhancement, electronic payment system and e-commerce development.

He provided training and consulting services in the areas of e-business, business informatics and business development. His international clients include Seagate Technology International and other major Government agencies such as the Centre for Science & Technology Information of Hochiminh City, Vietnam, International Trade Institute of Singapore (ITIS) and other government agencies in ASEAN countries.

Mr. Lee is also active in development projects. He was contracted by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) as one of the consultant for the Trade Finance Infrastructure Development in Central Asia, Caucasus and Mongolia Project. He was also engaged by the Asean Foundation and the International Development Research Center (IDRC) to provide consultancy services to an ICT Collaboratory based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

His current job require him to develop curriculum for financial and banking system for students taking the Diploma in Business Applications. He was instrumental in developing a series of mock-up and test systems for students to use and learn about IT applications in financial institutions.
